I’m here to answer all of your questions.

The initial consultation

How do we communicate?

We use email as our main communication method, however, if you’re more comfortable with text messaging service, we’re open to discuss via WhatsApp.

Can I ask to meet in person first prior to making reservation?

Absolutely, my team and/or I will be delighted to meet you! Just let me know when you’ll be visiting and we can arrange a date and time. Otherwise, we can also do Google Meet/Zoom; whichever is more convenient for you!

What’s going to be discussed during the initial consultation?

We’ll first get to know each other, and then we’d want to hear your wedding vision. I’ll take notes of your vision so that we can come up with a quotation that suits it. And of course, I’ll be answering any questions you may have.

Between the initial consultation and the quotation delivery, how long does it take?

It doesn’t take too long at all! I’ll deliver the quotation within 2-3 days. We’re open Mon-Sat 09:00-17:00 WITA (Bali time).

The booking process

How do I make the booking?

Great question! Once we’ve made a deal on what services we’ll be providing, I’ll prepare you a contract to review together with the invoice. A deposit is required to secure the booking; the amount will be stated in your invoice.

What are the accepted payment methods?

At the moment we only accept bank transfer, Wise, and PayPal.

Should there be an additional service needed when we’re already in Bali, how will the payment be?

We accept cash in IDR, bank transfer, Wise, and PayPal.

Is there any payment plans?

Yes, of course. Let me know when you need one; [email protected].

Is this refundable?

Deposit is always non-refundable and the rest will depend on your cancellation time as well as each vendor’s flexibility. This will be stated in your contract that you can review and request for modification later on.

The planning

What languages do the celebrants/priests speak?

For commitment and/or vow renewal ceremony, we have celebrants who speak Bahasa Indonesia, English, Spanish, German, and Korean. While for civil ceremony, we have priests who speak Bahasa Indonesia, English, and German.

How long does the planning take?

It begins the moment we receive your booking until the the wedding day is completed. This could be a couple months, one year, or more.

I hate planning things, it makes me anxious. How’s it going to work?

Not to worry, you can leave things to me! I’ll come up with a list, ask for your preferences, and I’ll take care of the rest 🙂

What’s the best wedding venue in Bali?

Now that’s a difficult question. If I were to answer personally, I love the idea of clifftop venues with ocean view, but in a spot where we don’t directly face the sun – because oh boy, don’t want that makeup to melt away too fast! But again, this is something personal, and the good thing about Bali is that we have almost all kinds of venues – mountain view, rice field, beach, clifftop, everything.

What are the documents required to marry legally?

The documents required may vary from one year to another and from one region of Bali to another. To ensure I don’t provide incorrect/outdated information here, I’ll advise you the list of documents upon receiving your booking and will keep you updated should there be any changes.

You mentioned Certificate of No Impediment, what’s that?

That’s a certificate issued by your country’s Consulate in Bali (if any) or Embassy in Jakarta that shows that you’re eligible to marry. Further questions regarding the documents, you can message us directly.

Anything I need to know regarding the legal wedding?

Not much except we’ll need 2 (two) adult witnesses to also sign the papers.

I’m having the commitment (and/or vow renewal) ceremony, who’s going to sign the certificate?

You have the options to have only you (bride & groom), or with two witnesses.

The wedding day

I don’t know how’s a wedding day going to be

That’s absolutely why you need to hire a wedding planning service! I’ll come up with a rundown of how things are going to run, and of course my team and I will also take care of that, so that all you need to do is enjoy the wedding day.

The weather forecast says it’s raining on my wedding day, what can we do?

First of all, weather forecast doesn’t really work in Bali. Us locals never rely on it because it’s rarely accurate. Our forecast is by looking directly at the sky.

If you’re getting married during the rainy season, I highly suggest to come up with venues where they have backup location in case it rains. We then just go on with the wedding day and at midday we’ll check the sky and make decision whether to move the ceremony to somewhere under the roof or not.

If you’re getting married during the dry season, there’s typically nothing to worry about especially if you have beachfront/clifftop venue. In case it does rain, it’s usually no bigger than sprinkles and should stop within few minutes.

Can we request for refund if it rains on my wedding day?

Unfortunately, refunds are not possible as all services will have already been paid for by that time. However, we can look into postponing the wedding day, provided that the decision is made at least one month in advance.

Post wedding day

When will we receive our photos and videos?

Photos are to be delivered within 1-2 weeks, and if you hired extra videography service, the results will be delivered within 3-4 weeks. They’ll all be delivered to you digitally via email and/or text message.
